Unimaginable Lovers write and perform songs with heart-rending pathos, some heavy grooves, some of nursery rhyme simplicity meandering into Bladerunner esq. vignettes. Lyric themes inspired by Love, Robot Consciousness, Revolution and Thich Nhat Hanh’s Mindfulness. Always with rich instrumentation.  

Their debut album ‘Unimaginable Lovers’ was recorded in Norfolk guided by the principles of slow cooking and functional optimism. This is exemplified in their video ‘Life could be so easy’. This was closely followed by a live album, heavy on improvisation, recorded at The Reindeer in Norwich. Returning to Liverpool they took their music to quieter, heavier places with ‘The Window Sessions’ and a live session for the BBC.

Their latest release - Sông Mê, a collaboration with musicians from Norway and the U.K. was inspired by music of the Mekong delta and features the post-glam rock ‘Revolution or Bust’ and the ephemeral ‘Geniune Love’.

In collaboration with PVTV, Unimaginable Lovers recently filmed their album launch concert with bespoke immersive visuals and dramatic performance.
