This photo was taken in 2017, in Calabria (South Italy).. I was working as an entertainer for the summer season, and I had the chance to sing every week.. in a 1200 people amphitheater, always full.. Of course, I didn't have it repeated to me. I have wonderful memories of this experience, and I still thank heaven for always showing me the way..
I brought some uncomfortable truths, and I opened a lot of minds... my only mission was and is this, to spread the message. I managed to make rap seem like the brightest and most respectful thing on this planet.. The truth is that when I returned to Milan, I realized that it's not like that.. There is a dark side in this environment, there always will be unfortunately.. It is up to the person to choose to spread darkness and misinformation, or light and communication.. many things are not good, neither for us, nor for others.. but we must educate the new generations, also leaving them free to make mistakes!! When I was a child (6\7 years old) I fell in love with a "wrong" rapper.. very good with words, but negative in everything, disgustingly misogynistic and toxic.. a pessimist by nature.. a lonely person in short.. (he his reasons, but my point is another) as I grew up I had a lot of compassion and I would like to help him.. but I copied what he did without even understanding, I didn't have the maturity to understand and I started using his attitude.. until I almost to make it mine, and to save myself at 18\19 years old... after beautiful, but gray years.. I find it wrong that parents blame rappers for what their children do. Does not exist. But a person who has suffered the consequences can speak.. We are examples, we not only carry our own discomfort with us, but that of everyone.. We must be careful not to infect young people negatively.. It may seem senseless, but rap is much more than street or protest music.. it's much more than an outburst. Rap is life, it is the most difficult and at the same time the most undervalued artistic expression... I don't recommend anyone to be a rapper, it's a life full of renunciations and sacrifices... continuity, will and this sometimes leads to marginalization to learn new things... either you were born for this life, or leave it alone!! it's the discomfort that leads to writing. People help me balance the message. The message comes from heaven or from my inner being. I write so much that I go into hypnosis, and I don't hear anyone. Like when they talk to me in the disco and I'm dancing. It's not that I don't listen to you, I just don't hear you. And with this I will never be able to say "my music is better than the others".. I don't say it, and not out of humility, but because it will never be true. Music is made of facets and differences, there is no best... it's all in our ego! But I'm sure that my music is different and original... it's evolving well and wants to reach the heart directly. I have grown so much both as a person and as a musician, I am just a humble servant of music!! That connects with the world and puts each of us on a pedestal!! Because we deserve it. regarding this beat..
I created this beat to rap over, with a constant flow in anticipation of rapping.. it's very linear, but I like it! And I feel that with the rap above it is valued a lot. I hope you like it :)
