I made the beat to this song and putting it together i was watching a kongfu flick about this guy that was a thief and he killed people. He killed people that were rich and had money. Then he took the money and gave it to the school and hospitals and more. Writing this song to the beat using that movie concept, and took some of the Kong-fu fighting out and mixed that down in the song. So theres a lot going on in this song. When secret society comes through to do our thing on the mic, we are coming to do it in your city. And with that song, I wanted it to sound like we were actually on the road, in different cities. That’s where all the city sound effects play there position. Beats Out The Basement was produced by the RZA and I featured Prodigal Sunn. Every studio always start in an attic, garage, closet, basement, and even bathrooms. So basically everyone that has done music started somewhere in one those places, before or if they had a chance to record in a live studio. So writing this song I had my studio in the basement and i wanted to write a song about where I did my music, which was the basement. Sometimes. when your working on music, you have to turn it up a little bit and the base from the speakers will blow the basement door back. Now my mom is screaming "turn it down" and my sister screaming "Turn it up", My dad saying "Make it". Everytime i came with a hit, I had to bake it. Everytime I made a fat beat, I had to take it. So i talked to Prodigal Sunn and he came in with his verse. Now you might hear his verse on GhostFace Killas album on a song called "STREET CHEMISTRY". He used the same verse that he used on BEATS OUT THE BASEMENT. So that verse originated From Beats out the basement. If you hear it again on STREET CHEMISTRY GHOSTFACE KILLA. ENJOY!

Chrome Wheelz is a song that was recorded in 2000. My cousin RZA was working on a few songs so i got a chance to hop on this song Chrome Wheels. With Rza, 12 o'clock, Prodigal Sunn, and with a singer who i can't remember her name right now. Rza was working on a few albums around that time. I thought it was going to be on one of the Sworm albums but he used it in the album Iron Flag. He took my verse out and put Raekwons verse where my verse was. When i heard the song a few years later, I didnt hear my verse in it so i asked my cousin why. He told me at that time they were working on the Wu-Tang album and they chose that song to be on the album. So he put one of the non members verse there. No disrespect. They came out with the album in 2011, i came out with Sharplikasword in 2009. I used the version of the song with me in it and released it on my album and spelled it Chrome Wheelz, with a z not a s. You can look the song up on youtube. Chrome Wheels, with a s, is there version. ANd then look up Chrome Wheelz, with a z, and listen to my version and my verse. Ill let yall be the judge. Enjoy!

“Paradise” was a song that my brother had been working on, but he came to me and we talked over the song. He said I could have 16 bars to add to it, plus at that particular time I was paying for the studio time, therefore we sort of worked it out to where if I can spit my lyrics then it’s a go. My part was the third verse, which I know I did my thing and so did “Mac Dee” and my brother “Ish”. “Black Dutch” did the hook and it’s definitely a banger for the clubs, the radios, the females, and males, universal baby. I DO WHAT I WANNA DO is one of those songs where Ra Da Sunlord kept it real. Is was like one of those FUCK IT songs (excuse my language), but i was upset while i was writing it. It was like I could do what I want, when I want, how I want, figure it out. Unique felt like he could do whatever he want, he had no one to listen to except his parents. And then at certain times he didnt listen to them. Also this song has a lot to do with the way i was living, my frame of thinking, my pattern, technique, and dressing, you couldnt tell me nothing. No bodys word could go against me, Im stingy, i want all of the energy. I was surprised at the end that a lot of people ended up loving this song. I had a friend of mine that i hadn't spoke to in a while. And when we spoke, within the conversation. he told me someone told his cd. He was going through hard times at that moment. He told me he just wants to hear "I do what i wanna do" and he cant do that. I told him to calm down sun, look up the album name on youtube and there you go. I then sent him a copy. He was so happy and thankful. He said i made his day. And that is all im trying to do with my music, make everybodies day happy. ENJOY!

Now “Lost of Love”, that’s another joint on the album. That song is straight hood. It talks about things that you go through with your girl, friend, wife, friends with benefits, etc. Sometimes you be thinking you love somebody until they aren’t there no more. Then you got to ask yourself, ”Is it that person that I lost? Is that the love that I lost? Or was it the things the person I love was doing for me that made me feel lost?” I mean I spit them lyrics dealing on mad different bases, because every body’s situations aren’t going to be the same. So what I did was take like 10 different episodes of situations that people go through in their relationships and bundled it up as a nice little package to give you knowledge on what you got and not underestimating the gift that you got. I know I came off a little hard but if I didn’t that’ll be fake in life. And you see at the end of the song I mentioned that “I’m done running around, sleeping around, I’m focused, got my head together, I’m ready to go back home right now. You are the only one I need in my life, Lost of Love” I can honestly say I had fun with that one.

Then I tell you in the chorus that we making moves because the clans up. “Black Dutch” started off as a live wire. “General Jazz”, he holds down the middle, while “Ra Da Sunlord” verse is the straw that breaks the camels back with a unique finish and an ill flow to the beat. We performed this like we were in front of a live audience. The beat pounding, that’s what’s going to have y’all head knocking through the whole song.
