Fairytale

i wrote this on the first farm i went to in hawaii. it was only the third day, but it was last day on this farm. i was lied to. false hope. let down.

after, i left the island of maui for the big island and met up with my friend on the farm she was currently working at.

the host was mr. kok, but peter was proper and he puffed away his painless days with pot told us to weed until the skies were gray and his pack of puppies would watch but pull away when we put our paws out to pet them. precarious days. and although i cannot compare this cruel injustice with slaves i do not give free labor or have the patience to preoccupy myself with fools who dont know they made a mistake. he quit the program after some prissy 'city girls', too caught up in the poisoned product promoting metropolitan life, kept pestering him and worked as if theyd always been spoiled.
