This week we are honored to present you this sick high speed mix by our dear copenhagen-based indebraendt, who will be featured on our next VA which is coming out soon, as well.

'indebraendt' is a concept hailing from the darker corners of reality. It is rooted in an intentional exploration of the emotional tides that move us all: a life-giving force through which we move, and are moved; a force which is, to a large extent, beyond our control.

This obsession led to an interest in the extremes of musical expression. In these borderlands of human emotionality, 'indebraendt' found it fascinating how the expression oftentimes bordered on incoherence, on being so 'far out' that most people would consider the music to be 'meaningless noise'. 

And it is exactly this tipping point, this 'balancing on the knifes edge' between the coherent and misunderstood, that 'indebraendt' thrives and subsists. 'indebraendt' sees here an honesty, perhaps a truth, that lies dormant and invisible almost everywhere else.

Jens Jakob is a boundary-pushing producer from Aalborg, Denmark, known for his relentless creativity and deep connection to the underground. With hundreds of tracks to his name, he’s carved out a distinct space across house, techno, trance, and breakbeat.

Jens Jakob studied electronic music at the Royal Academy of Music, earning a bachelor’s in Aalborg and a Master of Music (Cand. musicae) in Aarhus, combining academic depth with underground sensibility. His solo aliases include Tækno Jens, Slambert, and the psychedelic-leaning Toxic Scientist, exploring a wide sonic spectrum. He’s also one half of the collaborative duos Nordic Echoes and Apollo 420. Solo side-projects Sequency and Hope in Dope further push experimental and bass-infused boundaries.

As the founder of Unique Sound Records, he's not just creating tracks, he's building a universe. Whether solo or in collaboration, Jens Jakob's music fuses underground spirit with fearless exploration.
