Eric Moreno is a DJ from the underground scene in Alicante, Spain. His connection with music was forged from an early age, influenced by his father, who was also a DJ in his time, which allowed him to develop in a vibrant sound environment full of creativity.

His passion for electronic music has become a career that, although recent, has been driven by a constant search for innovation, learning and expression.

In his first year on decks, Eric has consolidated his presence in important events and clubs in the region, standing out in stages such as Skool Club, Diskreto, Mosh, Reset and Neon Electronic, among others. In addition, he has been invited to share his unique style through prestigious podcasts such as Intaresu and Codex Sessions in Madrid, expanding his visibility and consolidating his reputation on the national scene. He has also shared cabin with artists such as Herck, N&O, Varis…

The introduction to analog sound and vinyls has marked a turning point in his career, finding in these media an authentic and visceral way to connect with the public. This fascination with the analog has become a hallmark of its proposal, to which it brings a unique touch that differentiates it in an increasingly digitized market.

With an outstanding ability to adapt to various styles, his repertoire covers genres such as minimal, house, breaks and other avant-garde sounds, showing great versatility and an insatiable curiosity to explore new sounds.

Each Eric Moreno presentation is not only a mix of tracks, but a sound experience that transmits emotions and creates unforgettable atmospheres, always seeking to connect deeply with his audience. 

Throughout his short but promising career, Eric has established himself as an artist with a clear vision and a firm purpose: to be a narrator through music, challenging conventions and taking his listeners on a sensory journey that transcends the borders of time and space.

Romanian platform @playedby celebrates 10 years of activity in the electronic music scene with an amazing Various Artists compilation which includes 20 notable tracks from renowned local and international producers. This special edition release arrives in a 6×12" Vinyl-Only Box Set in a limited number of copies.

Here, @cezar-lazar opens the compilation with “Nkv2”, a cerebral and twisted stripped-down groove powered by crisp percussion patterns, a prominent bassline and grungy textures that intertwine with heavily modulated vocal samples and lush breakdowns, best fitted for dimly lit dancefloors.

Coming from a background in art and performance, with over 12 years of ballet study, Erica Menei is a DJ who loves to mix sounds and experiment behind the booth. Born and based in Rome, she began her journey in 2011 by collaborating with Wonder Wet Records. This experience inspired her to further her skills as a professional producer by studying the basics of electronic music composition.

As the Co-Owner and A&R of Talkischeap Records, founded in 2013, Erica released her first EP, "The Ghosts Are Gone," in the same year. From 2015 to 2019, she was a resident DJ with the She Made family, an all-female project originating in the historic Rashomon Club, a cornerstone of Roman clubbing. Erica also held a residency at Goa Club during the 2017/18 season and has played at renowned venues like Fabric in London and Golden Gate in Berlin. Since 2019, she has been a resident DJ at The Sanctuary Rome.
