This song is super special to me. I wrote this song as a way of processing death and our mortality after the passing of my grandfather back in December 2020.  This song is also dedicated to my childhood dog Creamie, who I never got to properly grieve about.  Although our loved ones are no longer physically here with us, energy is eternity.  We are never alone, I sincerely believe their souls will always be there for us to tap into and connect with at anytime. 💖 Sending each one of you so much love and the warmest embraces. I wrote "Breakdown to Breakthrough: a bit over a year ago. Both me and a close friend were going through our own experiences of a dark night of the soul.  I don’t know if you’ve experienced this, but when you’re in the midst of a downward spiral, it can be difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The spiral can feel never ending as you curl up in the void wondering when it will stop and how it will end.

Throughout the song I repeat “You’ll get through this''.  I wrote this song to remind us that all emotions are fleeting, both the good and bad.  We’re all going to fucking make it tho. The only way out is through.  Your biggest breakdowns, will be your biggest breakthroughs. Keep going. ✨✨✨

I hope this song finds those that need this reminder. I hope those who listen to it find some kind of comfort & a sense of safety in it. I know the holidays can be an especially difficult time for some people, so I hope it helps in some kind of way. This song is very precious to me, my favorite one that I’ve made so far. We are deeply saturated in information everyday and I know it can be difficult to wade through it all. But knowing yourself and developing a set of core truths and values for yourself will help you wade through it all.
