At the 3 month mark: an update on the progress of United Sounds, a project that archives recordings of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but also one that helps to facilitate storytelling from around the globe.    

Though just a peek into the project and its participants, this soundnote illustrates how the project has grown to create a community extending beyond the recordings themselves.  

The geographic reach of the participants, the effort behind each and every uploaded recording, the willingness of people to put effort into their submissions and join in on the discussion...this is a testament both to the universality of human rights, and to the importance of this project. 

Thanks to all who have participated, supported, and served as project cheerleaders along the way!
