Happy and proud to share with you a sample of my upcoming release 'Desert Dance Remixes' which includes a remix i did to Kaya Project and Irina Mikhailova  - 'Shiva Shankara'.
I love Seb music since ever and his Shakta melodies influence and inspire me a lot during my music carrer.
His Kaya Project is my favorite down tempo and world music projects, and every track he made touch my soul, body and mind.
Remix 'Shiva Shankara' was not a easy mission (still hard to pitch elements from 90 bpm to 144 😉) but the process was so fun and open minded.
The EP also include a masterpiece remix of my bros from Volcano On Mars  to 'San Pedro Rising' and its totally blaster!

The Story of this Album began a few years ago when two friends joined forces to explore new musical paths.

When they started collecting their musical interests they soon realized something bigger was at stake. Things were out of balance. They went off to look for clues and the line between reality and fiction quickly started to blur.

Studying the tales of the past they realized there was once a time when nature and machines were in perfect harmony. But at one point machines took over nature and things started to collapse. Decades of disruption and agony followed.

With that knowledge in mind they began to understand that nature and machines are mutually dependent and only the equality of both can bring back joy and happiness.
Many days and nights of training and exploration passed by. At the end the very essence of their journey crystallized and led back to a simple but universal wisdom: you have to overcome yourself to break new ground and think towards new directions.

Suddenly, everything seemed so easy to them.

The Visitors EP is a transcendent tour of Flour’s auditory cosmos and fascinating inner world, essential for all lovers of hard techno’s trancier moments, it finds itself perfectly at home in EXHALE’s cutting edge catalogue.

Kicking off the EP, which he describes as ‘a four-track journey exploring identity and transformation’ is the darkly beguiling ‘Mystery Land’, where pummeling kicks and trancey pads take us into hyperspace as we are drawn into ‘the discovery of an unknown dimension’. On title track ‘Visitors’ we go deeper still as Flour invites us to ‘encounter one’s own alter ego’: driving rhythms are offset with haunting operatic vocals, intense building synths and a broodingly urgent break building tension as a voice warns of ‘system failure’. Powerful peaktime gear. Next up is single ‘The World Beyond’, a transcendent fusion of hard techno and psytrance for the depth of the rave. Melodic beeps over a fiercely propulsive kick erupt into squelchy acid textures and we are catapulted into the dark mystery beyond. Dancefloors from Berlin to Napoli will go hard for this one. The closing chapter of this epic sonic journey is delivered by ‘Eternals’, ‘a timeless, introspective echo’ that invites us to consider the ‘other side’ as a limitless space within. Trancey and pumping, haunting vocal samples and pads give the track an ethereal edge, while the constancy of the kick keeps our feet on the ground (and moving).

Flour - The World Beyond

Assim como  Yesterdam, “Stoned” é mais um fruto da inspiração durante a tour do artista pela europa, mais precisamente na cidade de Amsterdam na Holanda. As duas tracks foram produzidas simultaneamente, assim que o artista retornou ao Brasil mas a sua cabeça ainda estava na capital da Holanda. Ambas as tracks tem as mesmas características, sendo que Stoned inicia com uma levada de reggae music. O nome Stoned é mais uma homenagem a cidade de Amsterdam, a cidade na qual o artista teve a inspiração para criar a Caixa Mágica.
