The basis for this track was recorded as a live improvised ambient jam using typhon dreadbox , access virus 2, arturia drumbrute ,along with some vst patches in serum 2, massive x & playbeat. 
made entirely  left handed under the influence of codeine phosphate after a mountainbike crash which left me with a dislocated collarbone & fingers.

Due to recent requests from a few people I've uploaded the best of the crunchin' , basswarpin', lowbrow, glitchin', distorted tracks I produced between 2003-2007. 

These tracks haven't been available online for years & I haven't played any of them live since 2009/10. Last ever throbgoblin gig was at Bent Perception  back to back with meataxe.

this stuff has been left as it was made at the time. rendered out of the original reason files without any remixing or post production fancy shit , all the long winded self indulgent bits however , have been left in.

After a few months of work & one of the best collaborative experiences of my life, I am stoked to present this remix of one of my favourite Australian artists ( & mighty good people too) Jilted Hoodz & one of their unreleased tracks Dark Knight of The Soul. Recorded at Traffik Jam party 2007 , this mix captures the kind of tracks I was playing in DJ sets around this time. It also marks a nice shifting point where percussive breaks music started to morph more & more  into the emerging genres of psychedelic breaks & bass music. of course this had been happening for years  prior but its captured here nicely with artists like si begg , kozmik neil , soteg , tipper etc

Change_Synchromute

The basis of this track is a field recording of a 1.2km long coal train passing our house in Tighes Hill , Newcastle NSW in 2005.

They run day & night , uncovered through many suburban & rural areas on their journey from the open cut coal pits in the upper hunter valley to newcastle & the worlds largest coal export terminal. 

Screeching , shunting & groaning like giant robots lumbering towards the port.

The line has been blockaded by protestors on a number of occasions shutting it down for hours/days at a time.

This track was made in march 2005.

This is section 1 of 2 longer pieces  made over the last 6 months comprised of mostly improvised audio scenes built up gradually for use in live jamming with fellow sound artists. So its fairly basic with plenty of space to add in extra touches & spiced with scifi film samples.

the Mutant Waveformz collective ( or most of us) gathered at our primary annual  jam space at Lynchwood recently for a spring get together. Recording over 9 hours of dj sets , live jams, freeform ambient etc throughout a 3 night stay.
This first playlist is from 29th september & features a Synchromute & Somnus Lak 2.5 hr live jam cut into 6 chunks with a couple of shittier sections edited out. get on it!!!!! Its almost like being there.......

materials; and produces public art events and projects with youth groups and architects. EMKs paintings and
Audio Composi-tions could be described as intricate, flatly simple homogenizations that are studies of
