Effigies of death: ritual decapitation and modification of skulls from 
the Offering of the Templo Mayor of Tenochtitlan.

The human skeletal offerings at the Templo Mayor of Tenochtitlán include decapitated skulls, some of them reused as skull masks. Little is known regarding who the individuals used as offerings were or where they came from. It is generally accepted that these individuals were obtained through warfare and that the masks were made locally in Tenochtitlán.

Between 1325 and 1521, the Mexica people of the Aztec capital ritually buried hundreds of offerings to their gods in the depths of the Templo Mayor of Tenochtitlan, where for more than five hundred years these gifts lay undiscovered. In complex religious ceremonies, sacred messages to the gods were expressed not only through these objects but through their exact and symbolic placement as well.
This compilation is inspired by and dedicated to the most ancient ancestors of Aztec history and civilization in Mexico, particularly in memory of and devotion to the Templo Mayor of Tenochtitlan.

Coreoscope is a term we have invented to describe our new core collection inspired from the light reflection toy kaliedescope ! In the context of music, we use Coreoscope to present different aspects of dark and core sounds that challenge traditional perceptions of hard and fast music genres.

By utilizing Coreoscope as a sound toy or mechanism , we aim to create a unique imaginerium for listeners, breaking down their prejudices and introducing them to new forms of perception through our music. ♦ OUR STORY:
– In the years 2018-2024, we carried out 6 editions of the festival in Poland and 2 editions (Teaser and Afterparty) in cooperation with Art of the Heart crew in Israel.
– We organized the 3rd edition in 2020 spontaneously completed the preparations in just 3 weeks (as one of the few festivals in Europe) taking advantage of the removal of pandemic restrictions
– The first work on the 2024 edition began in 2019 (5 years in the making), and it was intended from the very beginning to present participants with a completely different dimension of audio/visual experience, unseen anywhere before.
– Polish editions took place in 4 different locations.
– Apart from the first edition addressed to the Polish audience, approximately 80-90% of the guests came from all over the world, which gave Unity the rank of an international event, never seen before in our country.
– During 6 national editions, we organized 6 different music label nights (Painted Chaos,@minutelessrecordings , @postmodernmusic.pmm , @labyrinthinecrew , @anomalistic_records , @geometric_corruption )
– 139 projects from 22 different countries performed at our events ( 10 from outside Europe) including 8 worldwide debuts
– We had the opportunity to test 5 different soundsystems (F1 & Funktion1 EVO @soundsupportpro__ , Huracan Acoustic @sednaultrasonicsoundsystem , Lambda Labs QX-3 & TX-3 @kollektivtontechnik )
– All editions ended with a financial loss to a greater or lesser extent (the total amount invested in the project was approximately EUR 70,000)
– This year’s edition and its attendance showed that within just 6 years it was possible to create a completely new community in the field of psychedelic music from scratch, and an unusual concept based on the repertoire from the freshest subgenre of psychedelic music (to put it simply – 100% EXPERIMENTAL) is slowly becoming a new trend among festivals worldwide.
