Midweek grooves with Interception ! 

This set marks his debut on the UTR Mix Series, and it captures both the roots of his sound and where he’s heading. The flow begins in the lush grooves of bush prog, organic, rolling and hypnotic before gradually opening the door to the heavier atmospheres of dark prog. The intention was to create a journey that feels grounded yet evolving, teasing the darker edge without losing the drive and fluidity of the dancefloor. It’s a reflection of where his inspiration lies; in that tension between light and shadow, groove and depth.

About the artist:
Interception started his journey mixing tunes at the beginning January 2022. Since then he has been slowly making his way into the scene DJing at numerous venues such as My Aeon and New Guernica and organising underground doofs. Max also started his producing career curating techno and psytrance tracks, and released his Debut EP Boundless on Universal Tribe records in 2025. Listeners are provided with a journey through a distinct psychedelic sound varying between psytrance, bushprog and psytech.
