Laura Conant provided us with (almost) 20 minutes of her own production. The sound piece relies heavily on micro-sampling and processing of sounds, both coming from Laura Conant’s making and samples from different sources. Sounds are being transformed, stretched out, cut and re-arranged. Moments of calm are followed by sudden outbursts. Glide into a narrative and sound-designed focused story, yet warm and intimate.

Laura Conant is one half of MONTAGE, a label and event series from Brussels. The producer and DJ is known for various mixes and radioshows, exploring different styles and musical scenes.

corecore comes to you with this spoiled and blessed sunday service, which was broadcast on March 12th of 2023 on Radio TNP: an 8+ hour broadcast live from a cabin in Amsterdam Noord and from afar. With 24 times 20 minute live sets, sonic performances, mini-mixes and audio collages, sourced from corecore’s virtual community and beyond.

"Non Masse" is the new EP from Brussels-based artist and producer Apulati Bien.

After several notable releases on the Parisian label Promesses ("OO:NÉ", "RER TRACKS" & "Azone", jointly released on the Belgian label KRAAK), as well as his latest delivery "Exvivo" on Belgian imprint Cold Moss or via the duo XOLOT he forms with artist Vica Pacheco, navigating in a neo-futuristic aesthetic with glitch and experimental influences mixed with juke, footwork and more broadly bass music heritage, Apulati Bien explores this time new territories, devoid of preconceived forms and leaving more space to each element.

Recorded at the time of the finalization of his album "Azone" released in February 2022, with the will to proceed with a different method, even opposed to the one he knows, "Non Masse" (whose title is equivocal of the approach) is a more aerial object, with unquantified structures and sliding material, reflecting a feeling of "wanting to get out of (his) own mass", according to his words. A feeling certainly shared by many during the troubled period of the last two years, and which echoes a general desire for detachment, for withdrawal combined with a search for discovery in these overloaded times.

"Non Masse" is not however an object apart from Apulati Bien's discography, where we find the main elements of his music : futuristic references, glitch and digital contortions, which should not be approached as a light object but as a complex one, where the subtle details don't aim at diverting the attention, but on the contrary at nourishing a more global speech. The title "Alone Global" of one of the tracks is probably the most accurate definition of this project.

MICHAELBRAILEY presents a shrine to 'Southland Tales', the critically-panned sophomore epic from Donnie Darko-director Richard Kelly. The voices of Hollywood 00s stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Justin Timberlake, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seann William Scott can be heard prophesying on the state of things in a world where porn is on TV, Iraq war veterans have amnesia, guns can bend around corners and quantum teleportation is top news. Leaning heavily on the film's Moby-led soundtrack this unusual mix scans, etches and chips away at the film's runtime to unearth what meaning or emotion lies beneath its strangely salacious surface.

Cold, frenetic and packed with twists and turns, ECLIPSE captures TCV in playful form. Berlin-born and bred, the professional guitarist and producer paints soundscapes primed for synesthesia: one moment cosmically rearranging the planets, the other capturing a neuronal scramble for dopamine. It’s music that’s angular like a sharp corner in Wipeout and emotionally ambiguous like a cyber tribal tattoo.
