For years now, GREETINGS (Head of Boots & Legs Records) and Slumdog (Solstice, Glamorama) have hosted a series of Boot shaking, Gala fit parties embracing the Disco, House, and Italo we all crave. Pushing against the trend of fast beats and crazy bright screens at the rave, The Boot Gala harks back to the Studio 54 era (albeit a kitschy version) that sees a full runway, lights show, and sparkly gold & silver decor that invites partygoers of all creeds and backgrounds to dance the night away surrounded by the best of the best.

The Boot Gala has seen the likes of Skatebard (NOR) Donald’s House, Adriana, DJ Luv You, Myles Mac + many more grace the stage. The Boot Gala now hits the road with shows in Eora/Sydney and Tarntanya Wama/Adelaide to come alongside the typical winter series that Melbournians have come to rely on for their disco fix!

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.

Isabel explores and archives forgotten sounds from cassettes lost in time. Son Objet combines this archive of bizarre and cosmic sounds with unconventional contemporary compositions, creating a narrative that shifts between introspection and dance, always with a focus on psychedelia, spoken word, and sound collage.

She currently curates “Time Capsule”, a show on Leipzig's Sphere Radio, where she invites multidisciplinary artists from Porto to share their musical exploration projects. Besides that, she also organizes with friends a small DIY gathering nearby Porto, “Elliptica”, a 24h event with more than 20 artists involved each time, DJ sets, Live acts and Art Installations. Plays sometimes in Porto and Lisbon, although she finds her sweet spot in gatherings and festivals surrounded by nature and open dance floors as she did before at Elliptica (Portugal), Illusio (France) and Braille Satellite (Lithuania). Other than that, she rather play for her cats in her groovie apartment.
