Diana DeMuth burst onto the singer-songwriter scene with a breathtaking voice and arresting perspective about life, love and self-discovery. Her debut album “Misadventure” was released independently in 2020 to critical acclaim. Shortly after that she sang a featured duet with Lumineers frontman Wesley Schultz on his debut solo album “Vignettes” which reached #1 on Billboard Vinyl Charts. Most recently Diana sang backgrounds on the The Lumineers chart-topping album “Brightside”.

Beautifully Relentless Owner and Producer- Unkle Skock, is no stranger to soaring vocals partnered with organic electronic beats. A seeker of lyrics with meaning and emotion; Scott has again taken what he loves and put his own twist on it.

It Just Goes (feat. Sarah Scott)

Diamond Thug’s latest single ‘The Woods’ is a story of two lovers lost in a forest of disconnection and emotional isolation. Introduced with an industrial synth progression, the song metaphorically speaks to the difficulties of maintaining a relationship in the modern world by comparing the emotional journey to a walk in dense woods.

Disconnection in the online world of connection is contrasted by the comfort, yet overwhelming magnitude of the natural world. The imagery of the lyrics depicts beautiful scenery, moon shadows, gripping summers and dense green forest, with an underlying darkness of the disconnection one feels by walking at one’s own pace. Chantel Van T’s eerie, yet powerful vocal melody is supported by a driving and pulsating rhythm section, building in tension and density as the song progresses to its climatic second chorus in an explosion of distorted guitars and melodic synth lines. The song was written across continents, with Chantel Van T writing and recording the vocals in the French Alps, while the band recorded in their home city Cape Town.

It's about staring at the sun in the depth of winter, coming to terms with one's imperfection and opting for a more playful attitude in accepting that we habitually fuck up and may continue to do so but that’s part of human nature. We make mistakes. This song is a big release of the pent up frustration of feeling stuck. Sonically it throws back to the 2000s pop-punk we grew up listening to."
