We are honored to be able to release Japaense legend producers Soichi Terada and Manabu Nagayama.
They are the producers who built the foundation of Japanese Deep House. And a remixer of Yukihiro Fukutomi aka Foog as well. Low Tension was out by vinyl in 1991 on BPM Records before King Street label of NYC. The original 12inch is super rare already in collectors.
This track is one of the historic Japanese HOUSE MUSIC. Shimada Nami “Sun Shower” as well too.
We added new special remixes of Foog as Yukihiro Fukutomi and YoshiFumi as Satoshi Fumi & Yoshi Horino to this package. Foog Remix is different and more deeper atmosphere than Original version.
YoshiFumi Remix is like DFE MIX stuff of Frankie Knuckles. Their beautiful piano, strings and keys are dramatic. And also includes 2014 Long Version as Extended longer version than 1991 Original vinly version. Hope you enjoy old and new Japanese HOUSE MUSIC stuff.

Netflix制作によるドキュメンタリー映像『ニーナ・シモン～魂の歌』、その連動プロジェクトとしてLauryn Hill、Robert Glasper等が参画し制作されたトリビュート・アルバム『Nina Revisited... A Tribute to Nina Simone』が近年世界的話題を集める等、没後15年を経た現在、その音楽作品や活動への注目がより高まっているアフロ・アメリカン・アーティストNina Simone。

Toshiyuki Goto bio:
80年代後期より、都内各クラブでDJ活動をスタートさせる。 91年に突如単身渡米する。 そして 94-95年の間、Party “Acme Disco”(NYC)のDJとして活躍。同時に楽曲制作も積極的に行い、 96年にFrancois Kのレーベルよりジャズキーボーディスト菊池雅章氏とのコラボレーションユニットMATO名義での”Tribe”と”Drifting”(Wave Music NYC)で衝撃的なワールドビッグヒットを放ち本格的に制作活動をスタート。
‘02年にはToshiyuki Goto名義として初のフルアルバム “Two-Way Traffic”を発表。その後 も”progressivefunk “そして’07年には2nd アルバム”No Illusion”を発表する。
国内、海外のレーベルより多数のオリジナルシングル曲やMix CDも発表する。 Remixでは、海外のRemixではIdris Muhammad, Disco Dub Band, The Love Grocerなどを発表し、国内のコラボレーションでは藤原ヒロシ、チバ ユウスケらとの作品を発表する。
DJとしても’03の帰国後、 西麻布YELLOW “Voyage” 代官山AIR “The Garden” また 日本のみならず、 CIELO (NYC)、CLUB SHELTER (NYC) ヨーロッパ各地でもプレイを行っている。 ’15年にはIBIZA (SPAIN) でMI-BIZAのClosing Partyでプレイを行う。 現在 都内のレギュラーDJはContactにて”Sunday Afternoon” DJ Bar Bridge (sat) その他にも都内各所、地方でも精力的に活動する。


Toshiyuki Goto
Toshiyuki Goto is a veteran of not just the Japan House scene but the House scene full stop. He started his DJ career in the late 80s, playing in various clubs around Tokyo.
He made a move to NYC in 1991,There his skills quickly lead him to become a resident DJ @ ‘Acme Disco’ in New York , where he stayed from 1994-1996.  also working as a producer at the same time. In 1996 he started his production work in earnest with the both worldwide hits “Tribe” and “Drifting” together with jazz keyboardist Masabumi Kikuchi as the unit “MATO”, released on Francois K’s label ‘Wave Music’ NYC.
He went on to release his first album under his own name, “Two-Way Traffic” on ‘Cutting Edge/Avex’, in 2002 which he followed by 2 mixed CDs “Progressive Funk” on ‘Cutting Edge/Avex’ and “Travels with flower plus” on ‘Flower Records’ in 2004 and later His 2nd Album “No Illusion” on ‘Rhythm Zone/ Avex’ in 2007.
He has worked on remixes for both Japanese and international artists such as Idris Muhummad, Disco Dub Band, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Yusuke Chiba and many more. has received world wide acclaim and respect from true ‘heads’ of the House music scene. Since returning to Japan in 2003,  he continued to DJ not only in Japanese clubs such as one of Tokyo’s finest clubs, ‘Yellow’(where he was like of the resident DJs at the legendary night “Voyage”) and ‘Air’ (where he was the resident DJ at the party “The Garden”) but also regularly touring Europe and most recently headlining @ ‘Cielo’ & ‘CLUB SHELTER’ in New York . And  @ Mi-Biza in Ibiza Spain in 2015
He currently continues to DJ in Tokyo, as resident at the “Sunday Afternoon” party at ‘Contact’ , at ‘DJ Bar Bridge on Saturday’, and at Veronique on every Thursday.

Masanori Ikeda bio:
1990年代初期よりロンドンでDJの活動を始める。
伝説的ベニューWAGのレジデントDJ等を経て帰国後、音楽制作の活動も開始。Masanori Ikeda、Mansfieldや金子巧とのチルユニットCoastlines他、様々な名義で作品を次々と発表し、国内外の主要レーベル(Flower Record, Reflex, Ｍusic for Dreams, Be With Record, Colombia他)からリリースされている。
また様々なアーティスト達のリミックスや選曲家としても、数々のオフィシャルMix CDシリーズやコンピレーションアルバム (Flower Rcords, V2, Avex, EMI他) 及び数々の企業広告音楽プロデュースも手がけている。
そしてキャリア30年を経た現在も、その膨大な音楽知識とコレクションから、様々なオブスキュアー・ミュージックを空間に合わせ紡いでいくスタイルで活躍している。
