Where You At?

Bristol based producer Daffy has been making noise for quite some time now but none more than the past 18 months. Producing for around 12 years now he’s finally getting his flowers with releases on Time Is Now, ec2a, Southpoint, Vivid and Hot Haus, and being called upon for the official remix of the iconic ‘Ripgroove’ by Double 99 earlier this year.

With things finally hitting full flow for over a decade after he started his journey into producing, support has come from the likes of Skream, DJ EZ, Redlight, Smokey Bubblin’ B, Emerald, DJ Q and plenty others. Furthermore, he’s connecting the dots for the triple crown of releases, support and shows, with appearances at the likes of Hidden, Motion, Lakota and Fabric pushing him firmly through the very noisy underground UKG scene as of right now.

With the scene seemingly taking a twist toward the original Speed Garage sound over the past year, theres no better person to step into the limelight than someone who’s looked up to the likes of Sheffields Big Ang for years as an inspiration, who’s recently been getting her own flowers after Interplanetary Criminal has been letting the people know with his new found fame.

As we approach the half way point of 2023, Daffy makes his entrance on 1Forty with a track entitled ‘Euphoria’ that follows suit of the Summary tones set by Ghoulish and Lollie on the lead track, but with that deep Speed Garage bassline we’ve all come to recognise from Daffy’s output.
