Makarun - Sets

Makarun (@ivomakarun) is a DJ / producer born on the island of Pag, with a permanent address in Rijeka. He gets to know electronic music in his hometown, going to parties on the beach "Zrće". Falling in love with music and the nightlife soon after the first outings he starts searching for his sound. Going to Rijeka, together with his colleague Nino Barbina, they founded their club night called "MinimalCheck" whose idea was to bring together young DJs of microhouse-sound. At the beginning of 2020, he met Toni Tesker, who introduced him to the production waters, and at the end of 2020, he signed his first release for "Peanut Records".

He spends the pandemic period looking for new records and organizing the "MinimalCheck" and "Kubik" events. At the beginning of 2022, together with his colleagues, he founded the "Kubik Music" label, and released their first edition KBK001. His sound is genre unlimited, and music is a way of communication.

Captivated by the music of Ricardo Villalobos, Barac, Rich NxT, Raresh, Traumer etc., Makarun became immersed in electronic music at the age of 15 and soon got engaged in the local scene, putting up small events and DJ-ing.  

By the end of 2019, he started producing music and his first releases came out in October 2020. Makarun is also the cofounder of the Kubik label & collective...

The final piece to the puzzle comes from non other than one of the most consistent hard working wizards of the underground scene our amigo, Paul K with he’s reincarnation remix, Hidden Whispers. Luring us in with drums and a rolling bass that will keep you locked in the groove with his kaleidoscope of un sequenced melodies and patterns creating art on the dance floor.

tunnel’ second release is here! 

The Mudd Connection EP comes from the other side of the Atlantic and was produced in Los Angeles by our online friend Ty Serna. Ty got in touch with us after hearing Eltouss playing some of his tracks during his Mudd Show last year. What followed was a long exchange of tracks, feedbacks and friendly conversations… Our friend was so inspired and productive that we would receive new material every single morning. The result of this nice overseas connection is condensed into this EP : three deep and rolling tunes perfectly carved for the club and a more darkish after-party fourth one. Tested and approved, we have played them over and over during the last year, and we are not ready to stop soon…
