RiRi brings a summer vibe to the listeners and as the name of the track suggests it plays homage to Rihanna. By stripping back his vocals from his typical rap style Smilez shows the listeners his diversity on this track. He has also switched up the topic with RiRi been aimed towards the ladies.
Smilez said: “it’s a message that I really put my mind to work and I don’t pay my mind to a hater”.
The video features a lady in lingerie which ties in perfectly to RiRi and her Savage x Fenty lingerie collection. Smilez chose Rihanna as the metaphor of the track as she tends to come off as a confident character while using sexual lyrics within her songs.
