Duality is represented by the number 2: up and down, left and right, brightness and darkness. The number 2 illustrates the incredibly strong concept of life and invites you to meditate on the opposites of anything you can think of. If you want to be good, you must understand what evil is. To appreciate light, you need to comprehend darkness—the absence of light. For everyone on the right, there is an opponent on the left.

The noblest ideas prompt you to choose the right thing—good over evil—or to reach a balance of opposites, where balance becomes the ideal solution.

However, there is one concept without a solution or explanation: life and death.

Nobody wants to die, and nobody knows why we are here.

In this mysterious yet cruel game of life, you are left with only one element—time.

Memento Mori (Latin for 'remember that you have to die') serves as a reminder that time doesn't forgive. Take nothing for granted, for sooner or later, we will all die. While this may be a heavy thought for many, it is an excellent exercise in advanced meditation on the meaning of life: nothing is certain except death.

So, perhaps, don't waste too much of your precious time. Make the best of your present moment because that's all you have today!
