Vegaans & Hermann Bravo // Sunday Mood + 5AM

We are happy to unveil Unlearn:Ibiza, boasting a summer-ready collection of tech house cuts from labels regulars & newcomers alike. This V/A EP comprises five brand new & exclusive cuts that fall in line with the label's dancefloor-led ethos, but this time with a White Isle spin. Improv jazz guitarist-turned-producer Left Ear Right leads the release with the pure drama of 'Don't Deny Me' boasting chunky drums & ecstatic vocals, 'What's Good' from Shawn Jackson follows with more Ibizan heat in the form of hypnotic bass & a breakdown of truly epic proportions, cross-country collaborators DJ Limbo & Charlie de Ville fuse a tribal monster with pitched-down vocals & and a complex pulsing rhythm driven by a rolling bassline, 'Ralency' from Hassio (COL) & Rinno DJ provide a heads-down dark & deep terrace heater, while label head Doc Brown closes out the collection with an industrial-strength gem containing a deliciously patient build and uber-satisfying payoff. Miami's Doc Brown is known for incendiary performances at EDC and BPM Festival as well as holding a longtime residency aboard the infamous Groove Cruise. Established in 2020, his Unlearn:Records imprint will serve as an outlet for his own fresh, unique take on tech house and techno—as well as showcasing other artists producing incredible music that sits a little outside of the status quo.
