Next up on Unmasked Discussion iS Cukier, founder and resident at Codeword, the techno series at Fold and monthly show on Threads radio.  As a DJ, Cukier is drawn to deep and transcendent sounds inspired by a blend of Berlin industrial-minimalism and more explorative, trippier soundscapes. 

As event curator, Cukier’s Codeword events have been praised for “expertly smudging the line between the emotive and dynamic”. With a focus on timeless and immersive techno, Codeword lineups have featured artists including Efdemin, Boris, Inigo Kennedy, Inland, Blind Observatory and Jamaica Suk. The event series is set to return to the dancefloor in 2022.

A permanent fixture of France’s 90s rave scene, Lyon-based DJ/Producer Umwelt knows a thing or two about making beats. His sound is both threatening and primal, something for clandestine warehouse nights stripped of the veneer of big budget publishings. He’s also a hardware freak at his core, and relishes vinyl, an approach that gives his music a raw physicality that speaks to our common nature. These alien transmissions of his get under your skin and make you move with their pure analog power, you’ll see this latest studio mix is no exception. Being in the scene for five years, this man has been running riot as he not only established himself in his home country but found himself already crossing borders. With his fast and energetic sets, he guarantees to make your mind wander off in the broad blend of his sound and the extraordinary attention he lays into his message. Capable of creating captivating selections in deep hypnotic techno and ambient as well he has been the guest of many recognised podcast series around the globe.
Helps to co-create events with friends called Teoria Chaosu and Broken Bones. In 2022, together with @adrenphuture as a duo, created a liveperformance project called 8792.
Has recently been co-creating a new podcast series @teoriachaosupodcast
He is also admin of Elektroniczny Olsztyn hometown facebook grup.
