Inspired by his father, Karimun stepped into his musical footsteps and picked up the craft at a very early age. Residing close to Amsterdam, he felt closely connected to the house scene and sound, which you can clearly hear back in his productions. Take Notes' second release features our young gun Brad Brunner taking the lead on the slick yet scratchy 'Step ASide' EP. His appearances at massive stages like Sunwaves and SAGA - plus releases on Deeperfect and Bamboleo - are just another testament to Bucharest's rising talent pool. The EP also comes served with a remix by the unstoppable Cuartero.

'Step ASide' brings a razor-sharp vibe of thundering kicks, catchy hip-hop vocals, rumbling low-end, and rousing pace. The Spaniard king of groove, Cuartero, adds his signature style into a remix full of catchy glitches, hook basslines, and an all-around booming main room vibe. Some floating arpeggios and extra-tight grooves round the EP off on the titled 'Drummer Boy', with Brad's future classic edgy sound, clean percussions and mesmerising atmospherics.
