Fresh of the back of his recent EP "Deadliest Scratch", Jack Den Haas hails from Leiden, just south of Amsterdam. Den Haas is part of the next wave of burgeoning underground talents coming out of The Netherlands.

The Resynance label frontman brings us the latest instalment of the Metafloor Mix Series with MF039. Known for his distinctive audio signature, Jack has been steadily building an impressive reputation among underground circles within Europe. 

Den Haas has attained an established amount of credibility as an artist, with his works being signed to a plethora of revered underground imprints including Mood 24, Pathway Traxx, Ewax, YAYA London, Inermu, Lacuna, and his label, Resynance. A steady flow of impressive releases has seen his work championed by the likes of Marco Carola, Rossko, Enzo Siragusa, Rich NxT, Fabe, Lauren Lo Sung, Sublee, Gescu, Arapu, Prunk and many more - showing the depth of his creative capabilities, scoping many of House music’s many sub-genres. Den Haas’ niche soundscape has seen him feature on lineups with tastemakers throughout Europe. Playing for brands like Roots at Goya Social Club in Madrid and No Art at Thuishaven in Amsterdam, he has appeared alongside many of the hottest names in the game in recent years, including Burnski, Toman, Rossi., ANOTR and Malin Genie among others.

Metafloor Mix Series - Den Haas #039

DJANGO & TENSEN recorded a 5,5 hour set for the UNMUTE podcast series during an afterparty. They took us on a journey into their rolling minimal house.

Both DJs and Producers from Amsterdam are spending lots of time in the studio together, developing the sound in their productions and their sets. As a b2b duo they’re appearing more and more alongside each other, delivering an energetic mix of minimal, house and occasional sidesteps to other genres in electronic dance music.

The mixture of their musical influences creates a nice and danceable groove. As DJANGO grew up listening endlessly to classic funk, soul & disco while TENSEN has been playing the drums during his youth and is heavily inspired by grooves and rhythms from multiple genres.

DJANGO & TENSEN both use their inspirations to create the thriving minimal and house that is so apparent in their sets and are now channeling this same energy into their productions.

The set contains a few unreleased tracks of them, together and/or in collaboration with other artists. And both DJs and Producers are looking forward to release their first EP in 2021. Make sure to follow them!
