Class '98, the Ghent-based DJ and producer wastes no time by lockin' the listener into a tumultuous, rampant groove where some sinister sounds and spooky vocals lead the track into a rascal drop. 'Gentle Work' comes after, bringing more deep flavours with some housy chords and fast-skipping hats, whilst titled 'Havana' rotates a playful bassline and a percussive jungle feel. Finally, 'Spiced But Natural' combines tighter drums and edgy low-end slaps, adding a slippery acid line alongside twisted chants and synths.

Venezuela-born artist Freddy Bello lands on Unnamed & Unknown with a standout debut EP - titled ‘Alexander McQueen’.

Born in Venezuela but now based in Ibiza, Freddy Bello is steadily racking up an impressive production catalogue on a wave of respectable electronic imprints. Following releases on 12+1 London, Distance Music and several others, he now makes an emphatic debut on Unnamed & Unknown with his ‘Alexander McQueen’ EP.

Kicking things off with the title cut ‘Alexander McQueen’, Bello delivers a swinging jam loaded with funky elements and catchy vocals. Bouncy beats and flagrant percussion bring movement to the mix alongside a head-turning bassline melody. The track’s vocal topline adds the finishing touches with an undeniably unique and memorable centrepiece to this peak-time heater. 

‘This One’ comes next, delivering another delightfully underground cut. Rolling drum grooves and another catchy bassline drive the track forwards through a sea of glitchy analogue percussion and gritty melodies to carve out a deepened driving dancefloor weapon.

The release number twenty-two called 'Gardenia' was signed by Raized a few years ago. It was his first solo EP on the imprint, after few singles on special edition albums, remixes... plus few hits on other record labels such as Hottrax from Jamie Jones; he now returns to the family alongside another dancefloor heater set. 'Abeesh Good' is the name of the Extended Play, more accelerated, aggressive but colourful beats than normal. The main track is also the title of the eighty-first release which includes another song, 'Kibbled', both of them with a catchy and attractive lyrics.

Making a return to Libero, Mannheim-based artist Martin OCCO is joined by Bucharest’s own Brad Brunner, as they team up on the electrifying ‘Here We Go’ EP. Serving up two highly-charged perpetual groovers, the release is bursting at the seams with trademark Libero style as well as generous lashings of each respective artist’s unique traits.

The title track ‘Here We Go’ is a pacy number. Sporting a stripped-back approach and emphasis on low-frequencies, it’s addictive rolling verve and rumbling sub keeps you moving as it transitions through the gears. A primed dancefloor mood setter, no-frills underground sound with captivating appeal.

Label frontrunner Mike Morrisey puts an impressive spin on things with his driving remix of ‘Here We Go’. Oozing with the label’s definitive ethos throughout, you can expect a robust sub groove and layers of supplementary percussion - capped off with subtle synth stabs and punchy drum programming.
