Merseyside-based Copasetic makes his return to Unnamed & Unknown with another impressive two-tracker - Chattin’ Dung.

Copasetic is a rising talent from Merseyside, UK. Following his ‘Cold Steady’ EP released on the label earlier this year, he returns with another weighty offering, spanning two original tracks on his ‘Chattin’ Dung’ EP. 

Kicking things off with the title track, ‘Chattin’ Dung’ is another hearty intro to Copasetic’s deep and weighty rolling style. The track’s thick and fast base of undulating drum work and rippling percussion pave the way for a roaring bassline and narcotic vocal sampling, leading into several hypnotic breakdowns and striking drops.  

‘Curfew’ closes out the release with more delightfully underground flavours. 2-step beats, driving hat grooves and masterfully layered percs create a jam-packed mix of frequencies as the track glides along with funk-filled energy. A quirky vibe-builder with a catchy ragga vocal and plenty of potent throwdowns throughout.

After meeting him in his hometown - Birmingham - right at the infamous TRMNL basement, label-head Jean Pierre was instantly hooked by his driving sound and wasted no time to bring him into the Pakate fam. That's how "Off The Grid" EP was born. 

The opening cut is slippery and bouncy as you can get, with fresh vocal cuts, light percussive patterns, and pulsating basslines. Next, "I Want You" provides mainroom affairs with big, energetic grooves, mighty kicks, and driving synths that will guide you through the busiest hours of the night.

Romanian DJ, producer, and label-owner JUST2 marks the 37th Reecords release with 'Gordon Bleu' EP, delivering two infectious originals as he has accustomed us over the last few years. Coming from a long path to bigger and bigger stages, starting in 2011 with being the co-owner of 'Get Funky Music' alongside Luca M, to more recent hits on SOLID GROOVES and Deeperfect, to name a few, Radu brings to our basement his own rominimal groovy approach.

The entitled 'Gordon Blue' features a tight scattering groove, crisp drums, a bulbous bassline, and twisted gloomy vocals, whilst 'Kenburn' offers more B-side atmospheres with a fat kick drum, mental, obsessive synths, and simple groove patterns for a truly hypnotic tool.
