Spanish talent Saul Antolin makes his debut on Black Seven Music with an upbeat two-track EP, Old Skull.

Collecting an impressive slew of respected imprints amongst his release catalogue, Palencia-based DJ/Producer Saul Antolin now adds Black Seven Music to his resume with an impressive debut release on the label.

Opening the release, the title track ‘Old Skull’ greets you with pumping drums and fizzing percussive layers atop pulsating sub-bass drive. Its reeling arrangement of swirling vocal chops and subtle melodic licks are orbited by an endless stream of creative fills and piercing FX, adding limitless character from start to finish.

The release closes out on ‘Next’, toning down the intensity and focusing on stripped back grooves from the outset. Rhythmic sub-bass bounces alongside punchy kicks and layered hat grooves whilst carefully placed percussive factors fill space between the mix. The track rides an engaging ebb and flow of vocal sampling and well constructed peaks and troughs as it flows from one end of its perfectly terrace-focused journey to the other.

Colombian talent Nicola Martinez returns to Unnamed & Unknown with his three-track solo debut EP titled ‘Mini Skirt’.

After the addition of Nicolas Martinez’s ‘Trippin’ on our ‘ADE ‘22’ compilation, the rising Colombian producer is back on Unnamed & Unknown with his first solo EP spanning three driving percussive-focused cuts across his ‘Mini Skirt’ EP.

Opening with the title cut, ‘Mini Skirt’ dives straight into a flurry of terrace-ready beats and playful traits from the outset. Punchy drum work meets rhythmic sub-bass whilst simmering percussion adds endless movement to the mix. Its catchy vocal hook brings the track to life, supplemented by subtle melodic layers and several suspenseful builds - met with funk-laced drops. 

‘Funky Bit’ comes next, bringing more signature Unnamed & Unknown sounds from start to finish. Emphasising groove-focused rhythms, catchy vox chops, creative sampling and more low-frequency drive, its peak-time personality is a sure-fire pick for packed dancefloors and big club systems. 

‘Move My Body’ closes the release in emphatic fashion, delivering another percussive-focused dancefloor jam. Sturdy beats and another moving sub-bass drive the track forwards through a sea of quirky fills, cheeky vocals and clever breaks to supply the third of three impressive tracks on the EP.

Hailing from Charlestown, United States, DJ/Producer Wait For Me is steadily making a name for himself on the global Tech House scene. Following releases on Kubbo Records, Groovy Bone, Bella Vie Music and many more, he returns to Unnamed & Unknown following his addition to our ‘ADE ‘22’ VA with an impressive solo debut ‘Work & Desire’ EP. 

Kicking off with the title cut, ‘Work & Desire’ makes a solid beeline with rolling grooves and swirling vocal constructions. Riding potent beats and roaring low-frequency rumble, its scattered percussive energy and cleverly constructed vocal arrangements add attention-grabbing movement and character to the mix to carve out a punchy peak-time Tech stomper. 

‘The Name Is Bob’ sees Wait For Me deliver a uniquely fetching and funk-filled vibe-builder. A catchy bassline melody and undulating drum work push the track forwards through a myriad of playful twists, turns and creative fills from start to finish.
