From Seattle-based ambient producers expressway and unnunnd comes an all-new continuous listening experience for lovers of melancholic melodies, time-bending measures, and sweeping walls of synths. Both ambient and ambient-curious listeners will find this limited edition tape split titled Flower2:00 (spoken flower two or flower two-hour) to be a surprisingly warm and playful journey that moves seamlessly between darkness and light, reaching far beyond everyday sounds into imaginative spaces that peacefully flutter just above reality.

Inspired by ambient video game sounds, New Age music from the ‘90s, anime scores, vintage synths, Japanese city pop, meditation tracks, deep space, rainforests and ponds, and experimental noise collages, Flower2:00 is equal parts nostalgic and futuristic yet not antipodal in the least. Side A by expressway and Side B by unnunnd effortlessly fuse together bridging across the two distinct movements. 

Every element of this digital and physical release, from the tracks down to the printing of the cassette labels, was created lovingly and collaboratively by both of the artists together. The first run of the tape split is 9 out of 9. Deadstock white shell c60 tapes with textured embossed borders are marked with translucent frosted labels printed in sky blue, and nestle into two-layer sky blue printed transparency and double-sided coated matte j-card artwork, all enclosed in deadstock sky blue and clear cassette cases wrapped in shrink. Each tape comes with a digital download code.
