Sort of a no-brainer really. I anticipate dozens maybe even tens of thousands of flips to this somewhere out in the void. I'll admit i'm still a little on the fence about the augmenting chordal (cordial, maybe?) thing i added to the outro hook, but i need to live with it for a full calendar month before deciding if i hate it or not.

*Edit: after a month i still dig it even though the musicality of it all is somewhat contentious. Bass always helps right.

Don't tell me that when you first heard this interlude with it's dissipating outro piano & Brent's swift disappearing act; you *weren't* imagining where this could have gone... Well i kinda went full Linn drum but bailed halfway & what remains is a hybrid of sorts in what i can only justify as an attempt to get it reeally kicking. Fingers crossed it worked x

Born out of necessity rather than luxury because @ 140bpm, the irrevocable pain of hearing an unwarranted drill remix would be too much for my fragile heart to bear. Plus there's something strange harmonically but also kiinda satisfying about this key shift. I know it's not quite 2 step but who's counting.
