First day of April's Soundscapes Project. I started with a field recording of rain in Alaska (June 2022) and layered improv vocals while testing out a new fancy Ohma mic.

For April's Soundscapes Project. In June 2019, while burning a fire in my backyard, I was singing a tune and a few owls decided to join me. The neighbor's dog joined in on percussion barks. I looped the original owl duet and added some atmospheric vocals and another field recording of a stream + rock plopping. 

The owl in the photo is a different owl I sang at. This recording was at night and I never saw them, only heard them.
