What's up everyone! I'm back again this year for the 2nd annual Badlands Music Festival DJ competition!
I just want to start by expressing my gratitude to everyone who's believed in me and supported me this whole way, I wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for the love from you guys, you guys continue to help my dream come true.
I put a lot of hard work into this mix, playing tracks from house, trance, rap, trap and hardstyle. I believe that no one should be judged by what music they are into because so much controversy going around, that's why I believe in musical freedom.

Badlands Musical Innovation Competition

Greeting friends! My name is Jimmy, aka Unoriginated. I'm entering this contest all the way from Calgary. Being chosen the winner for this competition would be a milestone towards my DJing career. Stepping out of my home town and traveling to do what I love, has always been a huge goal of mine. I now have the opportunity to do so. Now I'm just asking for just 30 minutes of your time to give my mix a listen, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Unoriginated is currently at the forefront of the progressive house, trance and hardstyle music in Calgary. Always seeking to expand, diversify and innovate, but also challenge his musical abilities, Unoriginated has built a reputation and recognition within the music scene. Since 2010, Unoriginated has sought to establish a career, and has since been very successful. However, Unoriginated is always constantly seeking to raise the standard for himself. 

Unoriginated has played at the infamous Calgary Flames Central club, and opened for several renowned DJ’s such as Myon & Shane54, Andrew Rayel, Noisecontrollers, Gareth Emery, Frontliner, and Steve Aoki, Audiofreq and many more. As one of the most popular upcoming young DJs in Calgary, he was selected to DJ at the three-day outdoor Badlands Music Festival. His effect on being able to interact with the crowds through his music has given him the support necessary for this fundamental part of his career.
