LUXE aka Lucy Hopson, originally hailing from Brighton, now resides in London after spending 3 years in Manchester where she began her journey in electronic music. Her interest in music started from a young age and went on to study Music at the University of Manchester.
 
It wasn’t long before she became a firm fixture of the Manchester music scene, joining music collective and events series B.L.O.O.M. (alongside Phoebe Valentine, Kmya, and Poison Ivy), playing widely around the city and beyond. She has now moved onward to her current residence in East London where she continues to make waves with her unique approach to music, sound, and production. Her approach to production blends a multitude of different genres and takes inspiration from many different angles: anywhere from prog house and psychedelic trance to UK bass and breakbeat jungle influences. LUXE’s contribution to BPLS009 on Banoffee Pies Records and her self-released Re-Imaginations EP both exemplify this willingness to take inspiration in many forms.
