For our 30th episode we welcome back our resident Nortsch for an hour of pumping percussion hardgroove! Relenltless energy, distorted percussions, and loopy bass lines are defining this wild podcast ride. Influenced by the 90s, he developed a new sound direction in recent times which can clearly also be heard in his own productions. It's a hell of a teaser for his upcoming EP, which marks RASEREI002 on our label, so stay tuned.

His style is focused on fast paced old school/hard groove kind of techno with a lot of percussions. Which can be heard in his productions and mixing. His passion for the scene started in the Hannover club scene especially in club Pan where he’s also a resident.

With his label he runs a weekly podcast series and they have released multiple ep’s and Various Artists Compilations. They are also known for their infamous parties in Hannover’s club Pan and they have an upcoming event in Berlin! Make sure to check out their collective as well.

SweetCast is back this week with PHIlI - straight outta Berlin!

PHIlI has been spinning the decks since 2019 - first with hard and dark techno tunes, and since last year, finding his spirits in groove. He performs digitally, but is seeking to incorporate synthesizers and drum machines into his performance journey very soon. He has been producing for two years now on analogue hardware, with inspirations coming from names like René Wise, Philippa Pacho, Marcal and Paul Hauck - and the legendary Berghain club itself! As a result - his current sound is driving, mystical and heavily melodic. 

Soon up this year, he is planning to go back to organizing his own events. Before you get to catch him setting fire on the dancefloors, get a hit of his sound with this sexy set that will set you in the right mood to shake that bootey :)

For their 6th EP, Art Bei Ton invites the talented French DJ and producer VBK. Her six-track journey explores the borders of hypnotic and trippy techno, pushing toward the uplifting side of the genre.

Dynamic and deep, each piece is crafted to draw the listener into a layered sonic space, balancing intensity with rhythmic textures. The EP features a collaborative track with the Moroccan artist Zaatar and a remix from Tadan.

Opening the EP with some halftime ritualistic drum sounds, "Concern" sets the tone with a hypnotic groove that gradually unfolds into a dense and immersive atmosphere.
The second track dives deeper into hypnotic techno, combining bouncy rhythms and psychedelic elements into a tightly crafted dancefloor tune.

"Voices From Beyond" stands out as a driving and dynamic cut, where uplifting grooves meet trippy textures to create a powerful and forward-moving energy.
The fourth track immediately thrusts the listener into a bouncing rhythm, propelled by a heavy kick and rolling bassline—a solid dancefloor cut!

"IO," made in collaboration with Zaatar, brings an intense shift in energy with its acid-infused textures, darker atmosphere, and a distinctive electro-leaning vibe.
Bringing the EP to a powerful close, the sixth track features a remix by the talented Vilnius-based DJ and producer Tadan, who delivers a hypnotic blend of textured soundscapes and tribal rhythms.
