Unshaped has always been exploring new ways of making our own indie sound, with influences from a broad spectrum of artist from different decades. This song “Grace” is mostly inspired by a melancholic 80s feeling that drives one to dace. Trying to imitate the feeling of cruising through the past, via our vibrant music.

Grace

Indie from southern Sweden! 

Unshaped was founded back in 2009, consisting of Jakob Larsson, Patrik Andersson, Robin Ekqvist and Fredrik Blomqvist. The Malmö based band is 
recurrently influenced by artist such as The Smiths, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Phoenix and Future Islands.

Unshaped completed their first EP "The View" in the autumn of 2014 in Sunnanå Studios just outside of Malmö, recorded by Tobias Ekqvist (Hurricane Love etc.). They have also recorded two demos in the same studio before with Markus Nilsson (SVT producer, Royal Republic etc). During the spring of 2015 they recorded their 2nd single" Re:born" also with Tobias Ekqvist in Sunnanå Studios.
