I've been transcribing this tune, so I thought I might as well upload the stretched version I'm using.

Vordhosbn 50% Speed

170.1 BPM, 21 different samples (probably on the conservative end), and a lot of inconsistencies between sections. But I finished my first go at it today, thought I might share.

Made in Renoise. There is no sheet music currently available for the transcription.

I'll be refining this.

I was really happy the other day to finally figure out how to get that sound on a regular DAW, I got something similar on vcvrack? but that was like 7 or 8 months ago and it was super nice to finally reproduce it on something that wasn't modular.

I made this song while visiting my grandmother. I discovered a cool sound design technique with bitwig's phaser device that lets me get resonant, watery sounds out of it.

I could probably listen to this forever.

the requirements for this project were that the song had to stay under 1 minute and I only had to use the contents of one sample pack as a base for the entire song, meaning I couldn't synthesize anything new or bring in my own samples. it was probably the most fun I've ever had making something.
