Hailing from the picturesque banks of the Danube river, Leela's life has been a symphony of diverse musical influences since her earliest days. Although she now calls Amsterdam home, her wanderlust leads her on a dance through Europe, a journey of discovery as she immerses herself in the intricacies of global electronic music subcultures spanning the ages. With the instincts of a child and the wisdom of a seasoned traveler, she molds her own unique musical universe, savoring every step.

Leela's relationship with music is an affair of the heart, where poetic melodies merge and intertwine, embracing your senses with gentle caresses or sudden, exhilarating sweeps. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, Leela embarks on a personal challenge in our podcast series. She takes us on a spontaneous and yet conceptual meditative post-rave journey. The story unfolds in an unhurried flow through trance-soaked melodies, a swirling mosaic of ethereal ambient electro sounds, building breaks, and hypnotic samples. Infused with sinuous synths and tribal drums, it seeks out an expression of forgotten atmospheric sweeps, creating a sonic tapestry that transcends time and space.

Alexander Berg and Robin Jonsson – best known by their monikers Dorisburg (@alexanderberg) and @kalawila – have been friends for a decade but collaborators for barely a moment. What has emerged so far from this is quite something: rhythmic yet immersive, capricious yet lucid, Avancera is the electronic sound of tomorrow.

Driven to create music that combines their two unique spheres of inspiration, yet exists in a single, almost-mythical universe, Avancera demonstrates what can result when virtuoso visions collide, combine, and ultimately synchronise.

This very special Patterns of Perception 52 precedes Avancera’s world-first performance at Patterns of Perception on 28 June at OHM Berlin.

Monster (@molimonster) launched her career over 10 years ago at Poznań squat parties, DJ-ing, promoting and running DJ workshops for women in Poland and Ukraine. She’s Projekt Lab resident and a member of Oramics, a collective focusing on dismantling patriarchy in the Polish scene. Monster is currently one of the most sought after DJs in the country, known for her obsession with old school techno, acid, Chicago house… and Rihanna. This is a recording of her Unsound debut at the 2019 closing party. It's full to the brim with put your hands up in the air moments. That's the 8th day of Unsound way.

After a little winter break, we are delighted to present the 7th edition of our podcast series! Indulge in this stellar, immaculately mixed powerhouse of a rave set by Lisbon-based producer and DJ @violet.

After many years of dedication in the underground electronic music scene, the multi-talented breakthrough artist had an incredibly strong one in 2019, releasing her beautiful debut album "Bed of Roses" on @darkentriesrecords, touring the world and curating an ever-growing, inspiring catalogue for her own label @naivetrax.
The @minassuspension-resident also graced us with her presence at our summer showcase in Barcelona (with @voltek and @goldenmedusa) and simply blew us away with her impeccable selection and an energetic style of mixing that left no stone unturned.
