Where his previous album ‘Grey Space’ fused strands of bass music with lush ambient, ‘Dying Angel’ veers further into liminal dreamscapes. Detroit fiends take heed for there's plenty of Motor City heat contained within, but also jungle magic from Source Direct, modernist dubwise abstraction from Topdown Dialectic and blown out ambience from Seefeel.

'Flawless' is Joe's latest record, regularly toying with the space between ambience, very comfortably proving the artist's ability to leave room for the listener to hear their own breath. 

'Deepblue', co-produced with fellow etherealist @ronan-music, is the penultimate track on Joe’s new record, ‘Flawless’. 

A touching, soft, and yet calmly loud dance. Crunchy, uncompressed drums and ever twinkling pads twist around the echo of an Amen break. NY’s Ronan and Naarm’s Joe link up in the haze to produce something unique. 

'Deepblue' is a taste of everything available on Other Joe’s latest record, becoming available and possible from the inimitable @besteffort. 

'Flawless' is available as a limited run of 150 vinyl via Best Effort’s Bandcamp, and via all streaming platforms on Sunday, June 1.

Following the gentle yet adventurous spirit of WARM01, we continue our sonic journey with WARM02, the second installment in Warning’s ambient-leaning sub-project Warming. Curated with care and curiosity, the compilation dives deeper into the spectrum of ambient music and other warm sounds.

This time we welcome six distinct voices to the fold: Saphileaum, not even noticed, Klex, sleepdial, Ghadimi, and Toxido Mask. Each artist brings a unique take on atmosphere, rhythm, and introspection— serving distant melodies, celestial pads and submerged drones.
