From a remote region of planet Earth, I observe and present the latest sonic creation by artist Lazly Bateman. Seikan no Kansokusha ("The Interstellar Observer") is a manifesto of complexity and depth, defying the rigid categorizations of human musical genres. Comprising ten tracks, this work traverses techno, breaks, downtempo, and IDM, unveiling a sonic journey where gravity and chaos coexist in perfect harmony.

The track titles, written in Japanese, evoke an immersion into uncharted space, where stars and galaxies become metaphors for evolutionary experiences and universal states of mind.

From the cosmic overtone of Hoshiboshi No Kyoumei ("Resonance of the Stars") to the golden coils of Ogon No Rasen ("Golden Spiral") and the eternal stillness of Shizuka Na Hadou ("Silent Waves"), each track stands as an autonomous system of vibrations and dynamics. The combination of rhythmic complexity, harmonic power, and meticulous detail elevates this work beyond a mere album: Seikan no Kansokusha is an exploration of the interplay between humanity and the universe, a message transmitted through a wave of frequencies that transcends terrestrial boundaries.

As always, my mission is to observe and study the creative expressions of Earth’s inhabitants. This album by Lazly Bateman marks a pivotal chapter in this investigation: a study of the evolutionary capabilities of the human mind and its connection to the forces that govern the cosmos.

Desde eventos masivos con DEVIANCE, pasando por plataformas de difusión de artistas locales con Griinhaus Collective, hasta eventos formativos y de culto con Tabvla Rasa. Bryan Andrés Toapanta, alias Unstrvctured, se mueve en 2024 a España para consolidar su carrera como artista.

Unstrvctured se ha vuelto uno de los artistas electrónicos más icónicos y versátiles de su ciudad, no sólo por haber presentado el primer acto live de techno con sintetizadores modulares de su país y haber impulsado el djing con vinilos en sus círculos y eventos, sino por también haber sido pieza clave en la gestación de la protoescena techno del Ecuador y su constante vocación por formar con una visión analítica y crítica a talentos emergentes con sus colectivos, fiestas y talleres, muchas veces colaborativos y gratuitos.

Unstrvctured define su sonido como la combinación de la precisión de la máquina y la espontaneidad humana, conceptos que desarrolla junto con una estética muy acorde en su primer álbum de artista titulado ‘Machine Epsilon’, a editarse en 2025. Su música ha recibido el support de artistas como Kessell, Lewis Fautzi, Developer, Emmanuel (ARTS), Bernardo Hangar, Unbalance, Vegim, Ancient Methods y otros.
