Here is my contribution to the little arrangement at Lillekampen cafe here in Oslo november 11. Other participants were Øyvind "Chaotic Morph" Olsen, Nastja Afanasieva and Øyvind Hellner. 
I played Borderlands and Animoog on my ipad. Samples in Borderlands to be granulated was a selection of NASA sounds, and old soundfiles from some of my old pieces.

Three sisters

Just a small rehearsal piece with my modular. Elements going through Clouds, Hikary Sine filtered byPico VCF1 and played with my Make Noise Pressure Points keybord. While DPO is droning on into the piece, with good help from the Xaoc Devices Belgrad filter.

Its been a while since I posted anything here. Been busy over at youtube. But anywho, here is a little track I made while rehearsing for a gig I have in april.
Haumea is a small plutiod object in orbit our sun beyond Neptune. I figured whales swimming around Haumea must be fairly small animals seeing as their habitat is around Haumea. Well, small in a cosmic scale at least.

Short nerdism: My Buchla Music Easel is going into the mixer in where I have Eventide Space and Timefactor as effects. It also goes dry into the Belgrad filter for some filtering, and further into Mutable Instruments Clouds for granulating. The filtered Buchla sound and the resonances of said sound makes for some very interesting grains and drips.

My task is to explore the sonic universe. As means of transport I use a wide array of tools. I find the combination of the digital world and the analogue world to be the best way to go. Thus I use both hardware and software synthesizers. My modular synth, Korg MS-20 mini, Kraftzwerg, Ableton Live and miscellaneous  software synths. I have a sweet spot for granular synthesis though. 

But first and foremost, I make music I want to listen to myself.
