Young talents are always welcome in our spaceship, Italian producer Pyramidal Decode has been making big waves on the scene lately with recordings released in labels such as Jeff Mills’ Axis Records amongst many others. His tunes have been constantly played by key dj’s worldwide and now it’s time to have him on command. Relentless and precise techno is his speciality either with a 4/4 base or using broken rhythms. For his debut he is providing us with a 50/50 selection of hypnosis and breaks, starting with A1a an ever growing mental techno exercise using percussive elements combined with different kinds of noises and bleeps. Fara is liquid and floaty, almost dubby, using elastic drum sounds and tensioned synth elements to create a track for the mind and the body. Irrational goes deep and low, reverberated and glorious, like a techno track played inside a cathedral. Perfect to create atmosphere on the peak time of a proper club facility. On Research the approach is direct and mental using flanged synth lines over a synthetic groove, constantly evolving and changing in shape but keeping hypnosis as a statement. Similar Function returns to broken beats and density providing the experimental slice on this EP the kind of track you would play for an experienced audience. Sospensione relies again on continuous effected sequences with a minimalistic approach using a few elements wisely to create the desired effect. Taj is the last tune saying goodbye in an epic mood as we felt on Irrational, hyper reverberated techno for big spaces combining atmosphere with tension properly.

“CONTRA LOS ÁNGELES”  IS THE NEW EP BY FINALVERSION3

This release on Newrhythmic contains six original tracks including two collaborations with Bøhm and Comarca, and two remixes by Schrzø and Joton.

Spanish producer Finalversion3 returns to Newrhythmic with a new avant-garde electronic exercise, featuring a range of different soundscapes and a hunger for the future that exudes originality. "Against the Angels" is not your typical EP, as it contains six original tracks including two collaborations with Bøhm and Comarca, and two remixes by Schrzø and label boss Joton.

The EP opens with "Hágase la Luz," a hazy and hypnotic ambient landscape completely devoid of beats, where we can highlight a development that starts out dark and dystopian and ends up becoming a hopeful symphony.

After leaving the soft and delicate harmonies of the first track behind, Finalversion3 and Bøhm bring a bomb to the dancefloor, stripping away all delicacy to go straight for the bone with a rough and furious 140 bpm track that, pun intended, fiercely charges "Against the Angels."

The third cut brings "Zarzas Ardiendo," another biblical allegory that descends from heaven to hell to achieve a unique sound and a risky aesthetic. The track is composed of a rhythm reminiscent of UK Garage, with a contagious groove and robotic synths that enter and exit to stun the listener's mind.

"Castigado" introduces us to a young national producer named Comarca who we should definitely keep an eye on, and who signs this collaboration with impeccable taste. A frenzied rhythm that never ceases in its effort to make us dance supports a synthesizer that seems to speak to us with fury and anxiety.

"El Síndrome de las Luciérnagas" closes the EP with a deep and hypnotic track that maintains constant tension while a robust and wide synthesizer sinks the track to the deepest cavernous depths before bringing it back to the surface.

The Schrzø and Joton remixes of "Zarzas Ardiendo" and "El Síndrome de las Luciérnagas" complete this album, providing the personal vision of these two talented producers, who turn both remixes into two true bombs.

The Symphony of Destiny

The second output from Unterwegs see’s four killer, club-ready tracks from debutants: The Lady Machine & Amanda Mussi. Label owner The Lady Machine is a veteran Brazilian DJ with nearly 20 years of experience as a purely vinyl DJ. Following a hiatus from the techno scene, over the past two years she has cemented her name in the Berlin community playing at the best events in the city and becoming a regular at the highly-rated event Pornceptual. She's now marked her return with some long-awaited production in the form of two solid, raw techno tracks: Diligence & Vigilance. 

Amanda Mussi, an in-demand Brazilian DJ & producer, marks her step into music production with her full debut release. She has been gaining huge ground over the past few years in the techno scene. She's just completed her second European tour, noticeably playing in Berghain and Whole Festival in Berlin, amongst others. In her hometown of Sao Paulo, she runs a booking agency: Alt Bookings and also runs her Dusk events. Her two tracks for Unterwegs show off 2 tracks with a fast-paced, energetic and 90's inspired techno sound: Rising and Diving.
