Glitch Bit Symphonic

Been playing Chrono Trigger a lot this week, figured i'd make a simple beat for one of the songs. On weird whim i said "Why not combine it with YTC?" sort of paying homage to a fantastic EP.

First single from "New Game +" this is a decidedly experimental song, the words are less rap, more poetry inspired instead. Hence their timing will sound "off" and not flow in the traditional sense. The song runs along at a 5/4 time signature and combines some acoustic sounds with some chip sounds.

I wanted to revisit this song as a more end-cap to the album. Kind of an epilogue of sorts. So I dropped its speed and gave it a very very minimal arrangement with some vocoding, strings, and filtered 8bit drums. Almost a lullaby.
