Continuing its cosmic techno research path, Subosc is happy to present the latest work from Hydergine.
Known for his deep and dub influenced techno releases on labels such as Phorma, Modelisme, Knotweed
and Ranges, he delivers two ambient influenced techno tracks with a mental and dancefloor attitude.
Driving grooves, pulsating synths and melancholic melodies are the main elements of the original tracks,
which journey narrates about cosmic energies, self healing and mental stimulation.
The Omega Point is, at fact, a spiritual belief and a scientific speculation that everything in the universe is
fated to spiral towards a final point of &quot;divine&quot; unification.
&quot;Light from Light&quot; puts emphasis on the eternal and bright light of wisdom, which allows to think and act
using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight. Wisdom leads a person to
overcome feelings of helplessness, powerlessness, anger or aggression by non-understanding of external
elements and internal acknowledgement.
The EP includes two immersive, dreamy, enlightening and spaced-out electro infused versions by Artefakt
(Delsin / Field Records) and 2030 (Construct Re-Form / CLFT).

Producing is a very different art than performing live.
The dimension of sharing is indeed displaced.
On a stage, the music-maker shares an intimate process openly, creating a whole living organism where the sound, the audience and himself are an equal part of.
On the studio, the artist is alone, and in this loneliness he is facing not only his machines, but himself; and the sense, in music, forms itself in the mind of the composer while creating.
What happens then, when two very different minds, going through two very different creating process, decide to share this ultimately intimate experience?
The singularities of each personalities blend together, and through the music comes a new perception, the one of a musical friendliness.
Music is animated by the desire to explore the unknown, and music has for only role to keep the spirituality of each individual alive – and a piece created by two different visions takes you to unexpected territories.

OUR LADY OF THE FLOWERS “HOLIDAY IN THULE”
A new chapter of quantum music, painted with tibetan-gong feedback, field-recordings, homemade electronic devices, and low-fidelity 1980’s digital-sampling technology. Source-material recorded with a cheap handheld digital recorder (Olympus WS-853), then resampled / arranged / edited at Lighthouse Beach in Port Huron Michigan during middle-of-the-night sessions between August 2016 - September 2018. 
Our Lady of the Flowers is a collective of friends living near the Lake Huron coastline, who produce spiritually-relevant music. Autumnal soundworlds for energy-channeling, healing, quantum-field exploration, and night prayers. Rod Modell (sampling / editing), Kevin Dunham (electronics), Jeri Frantz (keyboards), Erinn Pegan (vocals), Jay Buckets (guitars), Warren Doss (guitars). in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. 
 Note: vinyl version of this release is 40 minutes in length (20 minutes per side), and CD version features some extra material and clocks in at 60 minutes. Also, vinyl contains a slightly different version of “Sites of the Sacred Feminine” than on the CD version.

HOLIDAY IN THULE will be published in CD (ltd.333 copies) and LP (ltd.222 copies) + photographic booklet on 13/silentes in November 2018.
