"For We Are" is the second track I made for my upcoming album, TBA.
This is the first time I am intentionally writing pieces that should fit into a bigger work, realizing a single vision.

I'm still figuring out how far I can go with changing keys, instrumentation, and the overall feel. I want this to be a really tight fit, where every song has its place and meaningful impact in the overall composition.

Having said that, this might be the furthest I’ve swum from the shores of Vanishing Waves. While Vanishing Waves had a very important melodic motif, this time it’s purely a rhythmic experience.

This piece reuses some of the same instruments—the subtractive bass, the white noise textures, the piano, and my favorite FM presets I made. 
But it’s also the first track where I used granular synthesis, something I’m excited to integrate more into my soundscape. I also created a lovely Mellotron sound, which leads the whole experience.

I’m still learning how to write pieces in a major key—remember, before 2024, I only wrote music in minor keys for over 15 years. I'm glad I’ve finally found a way to enjoy these intervals and patterns in an honest way.

A few more months, and the album will be ready to set sail.

With millions of streams across his productions so far, Vion Konger is also a name that is widely on the rise within the scene. A commanding presence within the DJ booth has lead to performances across Europe and Asia, with much more to come.

Astana (Kazakh and Russian: Астана; Астана is also the Kazakh word for capital city) has been the capital of Kazakhstan since December 10, 1997. It is located in the northern part of the country, in the heart of the Kazakh Steppe, on the banks of the Ishim River. With a population of 1,528,887 (as of January 1, 2025), it is the second-largest city in the country after Almaty.

The city was founded in 1830 as a Russian fortress. In the 1950s, it became the center of the Soviet Virgin Lands Campaign, aimed at creating new agricultural land. This led to changes in the cityscape and accelerated its development. Following Kazakhstan's independence from the Soviet Union, the relocation of the capital was decided, and Astana became the planned capital on December 10, 1997. In the south of the city, a modern government district was subsequently built, featuring striking buildings such as the Baiterek Tower, the Khan Shatyr, and the Pyramid of Peace and Harmony.
