Lara David [f.k.a. chekov] returns with the launch of her record label, Table Jelly Dishes. The first release is previously unreleased ‘90s machine music from Yorkshire’s Mx.Tactful with the addition of two bonus edits from Lara. 

The record is the outcome of a chance encounter at a coffee shop where Lara spotted a lady wearing an Autechre tee whilst waiting in the queue, stating that “our eyes locked in a way that any cosmic freak knows well and holds close.” What followed was a conversation over coffee where Mx.Tactful mentioned she had written music in the ‘90s, going over these recordings together in Lara’s studio and was the last push she needed to launch the label she had been mulling over. 

All tracks written by Mx.Tactful, with additional production by Screefays (‘Drummitape’) and Lara David.

Seria Improv contains 15 samples that focus on the approach of creating progressions in IMPROV form. Jazz pianist Jason Wool gives you over an hour total running time of spontaneous improvisation on Grand Piano, Fender Rhodes, and Hohner Clavinet. Highlighting genres such as Jazz, Fusion, Psych, Brazilian, Experimental and Funk, the intention behind this pack was to create raw, boundary-less takes giving producers full creative control to navigate each sample towards their own unique direction. After his successful debut the spanish producer Nuclear Waste returns for the second release on Impakto Records, the Unusual Systems Records sub label focused on early/mid 90s underground club/warehouse music sounds: techno, trance, acid, bleeps, breaks...

A side contains two dancefloor nuclear weapons. "Nuclear Acid" with cured killer 303 basslines, sonic bleeps and chaotic sampled vocals to rave the world. "Pastillas de Freno" Fat bass and bleeps on this one with craziest spanish sampled vocals, remind us to the Sheffield's bleep techno golden era with an electro touch.
"Living in the junk" opening the B side with 80's drums, an eclectic arpeggiated melody and reverberated bleeps. "Goodbye" close this killer EP with electro to techno drum patterns changes and spacy bleeps.

We welcome Munich-based producer and DJ @nicjalusi to the label. He is part of the Super Sound Global crew, renowned for digging out all kinds of under the radar records, as well as releasing fine edits and OGs on their own imprint.

Following releases on Earth On Earth, Terra Magica, and his own label, we are happy to release „Aqua Dream“, Jalusi’s debut full-length EP.

On „Kickstart“ and „Relax Your Body“ (with SSG homie Pio) Nic chooses his Tech Ryder moniker to channel the good early prog house - with trippy synths, rolling basslines, nicely sprinkled vocal cutz and digidi-dope dub references.

For the following three tracks, Jalusi returns under his own name and rolls nicely below the 110 BPM mark. The title track „Aqua Dream“ is breaky balearic galore with an Italo- house touch, while „Affirmation Dub“ with its dramatic melodies and swingy drums would’ve fit in Weatherhalls „Massive Mellow“ mix back in the days. Finally, „Moments In Life“ is a deep downtempo affair that perfectly wraps up this 5-tracker. A debut record you shouldn’t miss out on!
