The Flow sessions are a very unique podcast series. The project gives the artists so much more space to present their musical vision, and that's exactly what I did in my contribution. I love long DJ sets because with each hour I get deeper into my flow and can take people on a journey with me.  We start with a more leisurely pace, driving through the vastness of indie dance tracks, and spiraling more and more into the worlds of deep and melodic house. My mix winds through the many facets of my DJ sets and includes the different visions of modern electronic music that I like to present on the dancefloors of the world. Over time, the journey becomes more energetic and lands in the realm of more techno sounds. I love to tell stories and gain momentum over time to celebrate music together ecstatically. Describing the sound and sonics aesthetics of Robin Schellenberg’s music, one could tend easily to use bold buzzwords like „Melodic Techno“ or „Deep House“  – but there is something more to it: his productions oscillate effortless through a soft dystopian void full of sweeping build up’s: His tracks are drifting endlessly into an infinite sky, twisting from warm unisons into harsher electronics, just to break down into well-tempered saturated up-tempo beats. It's not Dark Techno by definition, but Robin often gets driven towards its aesthetic, without drifting into its cold industrial repetition. His tracks feel like a deep yearning for the horizon, pulling the dancer tenderly forward with soft melancholy. In his DJ-Set’s all of this falls into place, with tempi from 119 – 125 bpm, blending deep, dark and psychedelic elements into heavy sweeping bangers, to slowly lead the dance floor into a sweet and endless decay. Robin released music with labels like Stil Vor Talent, Katermukke, Einmusika and has upcoming releases scheduled for Stil Vor Talent & Katermukke in 2023.

Imagine playing music for 1000+ skeletons. 😆 After just flying from Hawaii to Mexico overnight. For sure one of the most challenging shows of my career - but at the same time, one of the best. ❤️ I played an earlier set, transitioning into the night before handing the decks over to Sainte Vie. I loved the challenge, and made the dead dance. A million thanks for the trust in my music, Deborah and to the entire team for an immaculate production.

¨Since I started making music, it’s always been one of my biggest dreams to play on the Mayan Warrior - and this year it became a reality. The gig got confirmed just a couple weeks before, in person, on the Wiese floor at Garbicz festival. I‘ll never forget this moment… Bursting of excitement, I’ve subsequently poured all my heart and energy into preparing for the week out in the dust and above all the set on that majestic artcar out in the desert of Nevada.

I wanted the set to be personal, featuring many tracks from artists who have played a significant role in my musical journey over the years as well as obviously some fresh new tunes from myself. In the little time I had left I managed to combine all that into the story that I got to tell on Wednesday night. Surprisingly zen, deeply grateful and content, I played this set surrounded by the sweetest bunch of people looking out in the colorful and bountiful sea of lights in front of me.

With all my heart I thank you Mayan Warrior, Rodrigo, Pablo, Amal and everyone else behind the scenes for your work, for creating such an impressive artcar, for endlessly inspiring me over the years and for letting me be a part of the Mayan story.¨

Built on a foundation of minimal melodic techno, atmospheric electronica, and deep analog textures, the EP moves between intimate whispers and expansive soundscapes, where city nights and fleeting connections unfold like hidden narratives. Each track is sparse but layered, balancing restraint with tension: fractured hooks and elliptical phrases evoke decisions unmade, faces half-seen, and movements that leave no trace. The music lingers in the unsettled spaces between what's said and what's felt, where repetition becomes a kind of hypnosis and memory folds into motion.

Across its seven tracks, Choose Again builds a quiet architecture of fleeting presence and unresolved possibility. From the cold detachment of "Two Doors" to the humid anonymity of "Night Device," through the submerged drift of "Current Draw" and the low-burn intimacy of "Aftertouch," the EP maps shifting emotional registers without settling on resolution. Voices emerge and disappear, male and female tones weaving into the production like another layer of texture rather than lead.
