We tried to do a short highlights track of our concert with the University Chamber Orchestra, but there was just so much brilliant singing it's really rather extended. We did, however, succeed in getting rid of the bits with police sirens and the other noise pollutions. There's some wonderful solo singing on here too, hope you enjoy it!

Lunchtime Concert, St Pauls Covent Garden

The University of Sheffield Chamber Choir is entirely made up of students from the University of Sheffield, both from the Department of Music and other departments throughout the university. The choir hopes to do a number of concerts each year, with dates included in the University's Autumn and Spring Concert programmes. You can also hear us at the university's Service of Remembrance, and at the official university Carol Service. 

The Choir was conducted by Mark McCombs from 2011-17, and by Tristan Fanning 2017-19.

The University of Sheffield Chamber Choir is the official choir for the University's department of music. The University of Sheffield is one of the country´s leading universities, regularly confirmed by university league tables. The Department of Music is located at the heart of the University campus, in close proximity to the city centre. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate study for over 200 students. The Department is one of the UK's leading music departments for teaching and research. In the last assessment, the Department ranked joint 4th in the UK for research and the vast majority of our research was classified as 'world-leading' and 'internationally excellent'.
