The “SUB SESSIONS” compilation series is happily celebrating 7 years of life with 5 successful releases and Upfilter Records is celebrating and complete this beautiful electronic music journey of series with the release of an anniversary compilation entitled “The Classic Collection”!
The purpose of this beautiful tour of our past is to remind the listeners and also to honor all those music producers of the electronic scene who gave us their beautiful compositions! Theodore Ali, whom we first met and loved through the EP “Pavon” released by Upfilter Records, now returns to present us with his first full-length album titled “U & I”.

Theodore Ali was born in Pescara, Italy and after a few years he moved to Syros, where he still lives.  From 2003 to 2011 he studied in Kozani and Thessaloniki, where acquired its first substantive contacts with electronic music. Since then plays music professionally, locally and nationally and has performed with well - known names of Greek electronic scene as Mikele, Mikee and others. Recently, is dealing with the production of music, too. He is influenced by melodic house, electro and techno sounds. 
His first EP “Pavon” is out there now and it’s a beautiful blend from a different kind of music genres and emotions. Also distills his passion for classic house, techno and electro into one “succinct” record. Furthermore sounds energetic enough for the dancefloor, yet refined, artfully composed and contemplative enough for home listening. The EP includes a unique remix by Themis Georgoudis to the track “Pavon” and he gives emphasis to rhythm and repetition.

Themis Georgoudis presents his second album called "Illusions". His new compositions introduce us to new atmospheric elements in the electronic music scene. The tracks have been created during 2021 and each one of them tells a unique story. The title of the album is inspired by false ideas of the world around us that may lead people to feel fear or idealization. Hopefully, this album will inspire artists and music lovers to broaden their musical horizons, be inspired and keep in mind that while life can give many challenges, some feelings are just illusions - authentic happiness comes from within. Among all tracks, two beautiful collaborations, "Traffic" and "Perspective" were produced with Thrill Motion and Themis Flessas respectively. The epilogue of the album includes a unique remix with Techno elements by Theodore Ali on the track "Intentions".

DreaMachinery is an experienced producer with studies on music, sound engineering and music technology.On 2011 created his music project with a purpose to compose an original music that will blend the sounds of Pure Disco at the end of the 70’s with those of the electronic revolution of synthesizers at the 80’s. On his music compositions adores using analogue sounds and he wants to achieve a modern production. Inspirations for him are artists such: Giorgio Moroder, Chic, Kraftwerk, Howard Jones, Human League and Gary Numan. 
On “Maurice - X - Song”, DreaMachinery blends magnificently the above influences and created a unique Indie - Nu disco style track. The track’s rhythm will succeed to drift you on familiar music paths and dancing grooves that you will not want to part with.

UpFilter Records present their new release "Come With Me" by Christo Z (aka Christos Zogopoulos)& Jalil B feat Andrew Leader, a deep house dance anthem born in the colorful streets of Morocco.

 "Come With Me" emerged through the collaboration of Christo Z with the Moroccan Jalil B and Canadian performer Andrew Leader. The main elements that characterize the composition is rugged electronic jazzy bassline, dreamy wandering timbres that create melodies and ethereal soulful vocals.

Their friendship began in Morocco when both of them lived with Christo Z at different times during his four-year stay in Marrakech. It was an afternoon in Kashba Twiline when Christo Z and Jalil B while listening to jazz decided to compose a song after having been inspired by the bassline of a track, created by the versatile composer and arranger John Zorn.
