Depuis la mi-mars 2020, dans une France totalement confinée suite à la pandémie de COVID-19, Musical Echoes lance une nouvelle série de mixtapes pour satisfaire et donner du courage à tous les gens malades ou enfermés chez eux et privés de sound systems et de concerts ! #SoundSystemÀLaMaison.

Pour cette 40e et dernière Fight the virus selection, Musical Echoes vous propose un hommage à la face B des 45 tours : de Lee Perry, King Tubby à I-Tist et Weeding Dub en passant par Bush Chemists et Vibronics... La version n'est-elle l'origine du dub, son essence ? Run it & dub it !

Basés en Eure-et-Loire et en Indre, le Dawood Sound diffuse ses vibrations depuis 2014 sur leur Sound System artisanal. Leur premier EP "Da First Sample" sorti en 2017 chez Marée Bass a reçu un très bon accueil du public français, et a été suivi par l'album "Da Inner Journey", 10 titres sortis sur le même label en 2019. Pour cette mixtape, ils proposent leurs productions maisons (Dawood Riddim Force / DRF) et celles de producteurs proches agrémentées de trompette et riffs de guitare en live.
