A pillar of the Washington DC dance and music community, Hugo Z continues to use his artform to bring people together and carry on a culture that has been instilled in him through music.
Molded by music, Hugo Z has taken the art of dj as a way to express feelings and create a vibe and use music as a tool to bring people together and unite them on a dance floor.  His musical journey and passion for the culture is something that he's always willing to  share for the betterment of the community.
While his love for the art of dj is unmatched, he also has a passion for creating his own music. Over the years he has released under the moniker Team Zapata, and you can find his music on his Bandcamp page.  Hugo Z's message is to create unity through music.
