“Earth a Run Red”, “Youth Dem Cold”, “Brown Skin” and “Jah Never Let Us Down” are a few  of my favorite songs by the legendary singer, Richie Spice. In 2012, I opened for him at the Star  Theatre in Portland, OR while on tour with Bambu Station. Almost a decade has passed since  then and I’m honored to be able to share our collective passions and perspectives with the  world through music. 

“Richie Spice Live at 2019 Summerjam Festival (Germany)” is a performance that forever lives  rent free in my mind. From his catchy hooks and timeless lyrics to his powerful stage presence,  Richie Spice has been a catalyst in my music and in my life. I find myself rewatching his  performance from that festival often, mostly when I need creative inspiration or to get hyped for  a show. Richie Spice is a creative powerhouse and an icon in my eyes and I’m honored to have  collaborated with him on our new single “24.” 

“24” speaks about the constant fear that has been embedded in us through life. If we only had  24 hours to live would we still have the same beliefs and actions? 

Earlier this year, Drumwise producer Calvin Canha sent me a handful of instrumentals and this  beat caught my ear immediately. After writing the hook and a few verses I reached out to a  good friend of mine Zack Reed who connected me with Richie out in Jamaica. I knew Richie  Spice was the perfect fit to bless this track. Calvin’s been a consistent sound of Inna Vision  since the first album in 2008 and I’m glad we’re still raising the bar with our creativity and  musicality.  

To make “24” the best sounding sonically we had the opportunity to have it mixed at Bob Marleys Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston Jamaica by Roland Mcdermot. We wanted the song to  have that clean, authentic Reggae feel with big low end so we looked no further than the  foundation. - Koa Lopes (Inna Vision)

Faced with environmental apocalypse, it is an outcry for shift in paradigm, Ipo / Ipothetically speaking not hypothetically speaking: To value the earth and it's people above all else. Sometimes those we style and scorn are our real messengers...
